Judge Jeanine: 'Impressive' Gorsuch Has the Right Credentials & Temperament
On "Hannity" tonight, Judge Jeanine Pirro praised President Donald Trump for fulfilling another of his campaign promises by nominating Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
Judge Jeanine pointed out that Gorsuch is known as a constitutional originalist and a defender of religious liberty, much like the justice whose seat he's filling, Antonin Scalia.
She praised Gorsuch's "incredible credentials" and "judicial temperament," and also singled out a remark he made after being nominated.
"A judge who likes every outcome he reaches is very likely a bad judge, stretching for results he prefers, rather than those the law demands," Gorsuch said.
She said that reinforces that he won't be influenced by policy or his own personal opinion, but by the Constitution and the letter of the law.
Judge Jeanine said that Gorsuch understands the solemnity of the position, and he's prepared for the confirmation fight that Senate Democrats are likely to put up.
