More Than 1.4 Million Sign UK Petition to Prevent

A petition to stop President Donald Trump from making a state visit to the United Kingdom has surpassed 1.4 million signatures.
Prime Minister Theresa May, who visited the White House last week, invited Trump to visit London later this year.
The petition, titled "Prevent Donald Trump from making a State Visit to the United Kingdom," does not call for Trump to be denied entry into the country entirely.
It reads:
Donald Trump should be allowed to enter the UK in his capacity as head of the US Government, but he should not be invited to make an official State Visit because it would cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen.
Donald Trump's well documented misogyny and vulgarity disqualifies him from being received by Her Majesty the Queen or the Prince of Wales. Therefore during the term of his presidency Donald Trump should not be invited to the United Kingdom for an official State Visit.
The U.K. Parliament's website states that any petition that goes over 100,000 signatures will be brought up for debate by legislators.
May said Monday afternoon that the invitation to Trump still stands.
Meantime, Piers Morgan pushed back on Twitter against the idea of banning the U.S. president from the country.
