As dissent grows over travel ban, Trump shows no sign of backing down
‘Prohibited travel will remain prohibited,’ Homeland Security says
Judicial rulings in several cities immediately blocked enforcement of the ban to various degrees. A Virginia judge stopped the removal of any green-card holders at Dulles Airport for seven days. In Boston, judges imposed a seven-day restraining order on the executive action.
Homeland Security did little to clear up the confusion and frustration playing out at airports across the globe.
