So my curiosity got the best of me and I broke down to read the latest AF attacks on CTIX. On the surface it looks like an article calling out a company who is not necessarily covering things up, but is cherry-picking data to look good. That is why AF continues to do what he does, because on the surface he presents the information with just enough of his own cherry-picked data that the casual observer will think he knows what he is talking about and will listen to him.
But if you put a little thought into the actions of the company it is easy to see that AF is presenting a false narrative. If CTIX is a company with a drug (Prurisol) that doesnt have the efficacy to progress, why would they then continue to move into later stage trials at all. They wouldn't. If they were tying to fleece investors for money why would they continue to spend money for those trials. They wouldn't. If they are trying to cover up bad results, why would they continue to present their results to other doctors and scientists in respectable, public, conferences. They wouldn't. If the liver enzymes were a problem don't you think that a doctor or scientist would see that and know the ramifications? I'd like to know what an actual, trained, researcher thinks about it. Not some financial analyst who rely's on extorting money out of retail investors for a living.

All this recent attack tells me is that CTIX is approaching good results and big milestones which will hopefully translate into actual share price increases. The investor community who stand to profit from their failure is doing whatever they can to slow or stop it from happening.
