I think if you have a Samsung with Tizen OS your ok. I have an old 2014 model Samsung 4K that wont run the app either.
I had to use a Roku 3 with a hdmi splitter that supports HDCP protocol 2.0 to get UF to work in 4K with no HDR support.
The TV HDMI ports do not support the HDCP 2.0 protocol.
To get HDR I think you ned to have HDMI ports that support HDCP 2.2 protocol.
