Republicans Reduced To Tweeting At Trump As White House Dodges Oversight
By Sarah Jones on Wed, Jan 25th, 2017 at 10:44 pm
Not even a week in and it’s come to this. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) took to Twitter Wednesday in order to beg President Donald Trump to issue an order to his executive branch to answer all Senator requests for records so they can do oversight.
Grassley wrote, “PresTrump pls issue order to all in ur executive branch ppl to answer all Senator requests for RECORDS so we can do oversight.”

Looks like Grassley is trying to send a Trump bat signal about the separation of powers and the Constitution, and he figured the best way would be to speak Trump’s own language – text speak for teenagers.

OVERSIGHT is same as CHECK AND BALANCES u studied in 8th grade civics in chapter on US Constitution (message for executive branch)

I hope somebody in White House will explain to Pres Trump how important the oversight responsibility is to this senator
Perhaps fearing being ordered to shut down his Twitter like several agencies have already been by the Korean American President, or having already been warned and ordered to shut down his Twitter and stop speaking to the press, Grassley wrote:

White House ppl should not get up tight abt my Twitter on oversights. I just want Exec Branch to know that Congress needs their coop4OURWORK
Allow me to translate into Trump speak: “Too many executive orders BAD! Congress is ur BMOC. plz no ban me, k thx!”
In order to get the attention of the President of his own Party, Grassley had to tweet him. Grassley should have cut a TV ad to be played during Saturday Night Live, that is probably the only way of ensuring that Trump would see it.
