Good question Patches. Many bullshit stories were fabricated by bashing trolls back when that fell through. They tried hard over on LieHub to smear Jerry by accusing him of fabricating the whole thing. Total losers and never around to explain themselves once exposed for their outright lies. You can't even get the old classic "no comment" out of them, just chirping crickets! lol

The true acct is that Mr. Harry Drnec was with RMH Brands at that time and apparently tried to set up his son in law in what he saw as a future goldmine. Drnec was the man behind Red Bull's rise from the ashes and later Bud Light. A successful and experienced marketing pro who was extremely excited about Rocky Mountain High products and the hemp infused food/beverage market as a tremendous and mostly untapped opportunity, hence his wanting to get the family involved.

They actually did form Rocky Mountain High Canada similar to what the Chinese investors just did in China, but without the depth of experience to pull it off smoothly.

Unfortunately, his son in law signed a contract for $1 million worth of Rocky Mountain High labeled for Canada without first checking with, or waiting for a reply or a thumbs up from, the Canadian regulatory agency who later told them it wasn't ok to sell product in Canada with "all natural ingredients" printed on it if citric acid or a similar perfectly natural ingredient is added as part of the flavor mix. Apparently they "over protect" the consumer in Canada in this aspect anyway.

Not that it's all bad, but they're saying if you sell a version or flavor of your "all natural ingredients" containing products named Mango, it needs to derive most or all of it's flavor from the Mango fruit and not any other chemical (like citric or ascorbic acids) or mineral ingredients even if they are indeed all natural food grade ingredients.

Like I said, I don't think that's a bad thing really, but it's bad when you sign a contract for that much product and don't find out until after it's produced that it can't be sold in Canada as it's labeled. Someone has to pay for that product, and the guy who signed the contract is da man. Jerry wasn't about to eat the cost of Drnec's and/or his son in law's fuck up, so Drnec, obviously disgruntled over it (and possibly having to bail out the son in law), stepped down from the board and never returned.

Canada will undoubtedly happen at some point in the near future now that the capital for expansion is here. That's why in my opinion the Chinese deal IS the HISTORIC NEWS that several posters here say hasn't come yet, but I believe that both the Eagle Spirit spring water and the Chinese deal qualify with flying colors as they are pivotal in this success story we're invested in.

Many more HISTORIC PRs will come, Like national 7 Eleven and Walmart distribution deals, but the Chinese deal will have been the one that not only secured those possibilities, but accelerated them big time, without the need for huge dilution or other forms of toxic financing, AND rocketed products into already well established distribution channels in Asia.

My god man, the Chinese deal has shaved years off the time it would take for Jerry and crew to do it with the usual investment bank financing and dilution of our stock. We are seeing this materialize just as we had speculated it could, so I believe we all an make a bundle on the long play here!
