A poster illegally recorded a phone call between him/her and Mr. Ehrlich, then offered to send a link to the recording if people sent him/her their private email addresses, and apologized if, in this poster's opinion, people had been "rude" to him/her.
When Mr. Ehrlich was informed that this illegal recording had happened, evidently from what the poster has stated, Mr. Ehrlich asked that this call not be shared with others. Despite that, the poster shared the call with his "investment group" (translation: trading gang), and then posted a summary of the phone call. There was absolutely nothing new that we all didn't know already, and Mr Ehrlich did not disclose any non-public information.
The poster stated that the call was "recorded for my notes only" so somehow that makes it okay to distribute an illegally recorded call on the internet. If it was for "notes only" then why would that be okay to use for another purpose -- i.e., posting online?
How would YOU feel if you discovered that someone had taped your phone call without telling you, and then posted it on the internet? Mr. Ehrlich has been incredibly generous with his time, in meeting and taking phone calls from individual investors. It is sickening to see that this generosity is rewarded with this kind of illegal and contemptible behavior.
