Also, the furnace didn't come on last night.
On now, but put in a warranty Home Service call anyway.
Appointment set for this afternoon.
The 'emergency fee' for same day is paid for.
If the repair request and work turn out ok.
Our deductible is only $75.
While paying a monthly of $60 the 1st 5 years and now
$75 total monthly for added 'up to code' service the last two years.
Did replace a water heater last year,
the 1st major project for our $75.
($900 including $200 for the extra connecting work with it.)
That 'up to code' stuff can itself be a small fortune for
our old furnace system. But we are covered there now with now
with the upgrade.
We have a lot of stuff covered with this home warrant.
It will clearly pay for itself one of these days not to mention
the ability to get service for reasonable small deductibles.
