I get purified water at home with a Burkey:

The Big Berkey comes with 2 filters used at
the same time. We got a new one. $258.00
It is great. We've had it in the kitchen 2 years
and use it regularly, often for our two dogs.
No reduction in filter color, filtering yet.
It is designed for survival.
I don't use it for coffee too often so to not
over use it. But the dogs are ok - go figure.
