quick_wit. That's actually incorrect - it's not news from a year ago and the plan is now completely different.
Previously the plan was for the new company SJR - which is private currently - to go public. Then holders of INCC shares were going to be given 1:1 shares in SJR and be in a company with a fresh start without the baggage associated with the previous shorting in 3Q 2014 and the iHub bashing. That was always going to be a long process and has probably been abandoned as "too difficult". It wasn't certain what the future of INCC was going to be after SJR went public but that didn't matter for long term shareholders as they would then have had SJR shares instead, provided they still had INCC shares on the record date that was yet to be announced.
Since then, we have had the surprise announcement in the last update that INCC will continue, get a name change to Element 79 Inc and a ticker change. It will also acquire other businesses.
Today's announcement is that the first company to be acquired will be SJR.
That pulls the rug from under the iHub basher nonsense that SJR is nothing to do with INCC. It would also then make all the SJR products - including the new Nirvana energy drink - INCC products.
