there are always a limited number of mm's servicing low priced pennies-this is normal-including some who get out of certain stocks and some who enter-a revolving door. For the last 8 years political forces tried to eliminate sub 1c pennies but never succeeded and NNLX is not sub 1c.
Agencies-controlled by political appointees-are not going to be making last minute decisions(before jan 20) they cannot carry thorough and that would just guarantee they would be fired.
We are transitioning from the most anti business political leader/admin ever- see sympathetic political documentaries where a certain politician decided business was evil per se and had to be stopped but couldnt stop big business so he ordered agencies to go after these low priced pennies- -thus thousands of low priced pennies were restricted in unprecedented moves by brokers mm;'s dtcc otc etc from 2009 to 2012- to a very pro business admin-so the coming climate is not conducive to a stoppage.
Now otc- a for profit stock/entity w no enforcement powers- has always been opposed to no info stocks (from whom they derive no filing fees-40-50% of their income whenever i've looked comes from these stocks filing fees on otc) but otcmarkets.com will no longer will have the backing of political forces to do anything about it.
