"Just create a new identity"? Those of us who were exiled here are not liars.
And we don't have the psychological problem that causes people who have been banned to assume a new identity and keep posting on a site doesn't want them. We prefer to do something constructive, and build a message board that is honest. Of course, since WE don't have a hidden agenda, it makes sense that we don't want to lie to pursue our agenda.
The experienced posters see right through the new identities of previously-banned or multi-identity posters. It is very hard to disguise writing style although, as was stated in the excerpt from the article that I posted about people with personality disorders, it's a lot easier for some people than it is for normal people.
