Why? I will let you decide. With that being said no one single indicator could ever be 100% right all the time.....if the 50/200 golden cross was a slam dunk sure thing then nobody would ever be willing to sell when one happened, everyone would want to buy.....but without sellers who would the buyers get shares from.
The GC was a bullish indication....and the Cup and Handle is another bullish formation....I believe both were signalling an eventual breakout and placed my bet accordingly.....now I await confirmation knowing its not a 100% slam dunk.
If it happens and the PPS climbs to 6-7 cents, then pulls back before going for a clear sky breakout up to a dime or more....I'll be glad TA provided me with an indication. You will say that the chart patterns were meaningless and maybe will buy in after there is confirmation.....but paying more of course.
