LAS VEGAS, Jan. 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Security Innovation, a pioneer in software and automotive security, announced today that it has appointed eSSys Co., Ltd as the exclusive South Korean reseller of its Aerolink® secure communications software for Vehicle to Everything (V2X) communications.
Supporting the IEEE 1609.2 and ETSI security standards , Security Innovation’s Aerolink is the undisputed leader in securing Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) communications. Aerolink has been selected to provide security and privacy for the 2017 Cadillac CTS, the first commercially available vehicle with built-in V2V capabilities. Aerolink has also been successfully implemented in the majority of Ann Arbor Safety Pilot vehicles through a program sponsored by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI).

In addition to this reseller agreement, eSSys and Security Innovation are in discussions regarding the development of a next generation security platform for integrated automotive communication systems. eSSys is planning to integrate their proprietary V2X Network stack and high performance SDR Module with the Aerolink library to create a next generation communication module for domestic car manufacturers, aftermarket navigation suppliers and V2X pilot trials. In near future, eSSys forecasts Road Side Equipment sales of 300 Billion South Korean Won and yearly On Board Equipment sales of 100 Billion South Korean Won.
