Silent UF we have both, all streaming platforms would have to be both encode and app would be the decode, doing H264 or H265 compression systems. So what they are saying if this law suit goes through and Apple has to pay, (My understanding Here) is that all streaming platforms would have infringed on the patents more then likely in some way.... But the trades are always saying that we have are own sauce (so we would not be infringing on either.... and someone posted today that NTEK is supporting X,Y,Z, on their 4k content.... Because of this...I first thought that the HEVC royalties were to be paid to X, now Nokia also is asking for a piece, which makes us even more attractive for a platform and low cut to payouts and so on... I hope I'm explaining here, bottom line is we have our own encode sauce which should not infringe... I believe!!
