'Do Your Job!': Bolling Slams Emanuel for Chicago Crime Wave
Saturday on "Cashin' In", Eric Bolling slammed the leadership in Illinois that he said has done little to stem the scourge of violent crime in the state's largest city.
In 2016, Chicago recorded 762 homicides, more than New York City and Los Angeles combined: "The Second City is second to none in violent crime," Bolling, a Chicago native said.
He said the "culture of crime" has become normal in Chicago as it was in Los Angeles in the 1980s, and slammed Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) for his strict anti-gun policies.
"[The] failed mayor's liberal anti-cop doctrine is hanging [police] out to dry," Bolling said.
Bolling also praised President-elect Donald Trump for bringing attention to Chicago's crime wave:
He said it is painful to hear his hometown called "Chiraq", and called on Emanuel and Gov. Bruce Rauner (R-Ill.) to "do their jobs" and find constructive ways to fix the crime problem and allow citizens to freely practice their Second Amendment rights.
"It's high time to allow Chicagoans to protect themselves," he said.
