I didn't like the Aruda surprise (at the time) myself, however, by my recollection Menon largely compensated Aruda with his personal shares costing us more than I'd like, but really a trivial sum. I don't find it interesting in the slightest that they both have residences in Boca, think about it... The fact that Aruda had an adversarial relationship with Menon and was able to negotiate a large block of OTC shares would lead any reasonable person under the circumstances to divest shares for any number of estate planning reasons or to invest in a business he controls. I see it exactly the opposite way that you do, the fact that Aruda still owns about half of his shares leads me to think he feels there is no better place to invest his money or he would have. A 6 month restriction would have done us shareholders no good whatsoever. In fact it's easy to see where we would have been worse off with a holding period if in fact there was not. The comparison with Apple is, well, not apples to apples you must admit. If CTIX has the value of Apple in a few years I'll buy you a house in Boca. There are criticisms that are valid like not up-listing when they had the chance but no one is perfect and it's water over the dam at this point.
