The question is what does it mean for us? We already won the case back in June. IF sanctions are rewarded what is the value of such? We paid 1M calls@$1.70 which at the time was valued at <$500K if I recall. They are currently worth $0.
If the stock went to $10 tomorrow and Ashcroft exercises we could clearly get sanctions awarded for $8.3M($8.30*1M). As of right now I'm not even sure the judge could justify $500K. Again, these are sanctions for legal costs not damages which is not a part of this ruling.
The only thing I'm interested in for this ruling is wiping our slate clean of any/all legal matters pertaining to this fiasco. That clears the way for uninhibited partnership and buyout.
