Share price vs Emotional state: Don't combine, mix, or stir
When you invest, do you notice your emotional state parallels the share price?
High share price = Happy
Low share price = Sad
Rising share price = Happy
Falling share price = Sad
If so, you may be investing based on emotions rather than DD. If you have been investing for over a year yet have never made a penny in profits, your emotions may be getting the better of you.
It is extremely difficult to separate emotions from investing. So much so that there are charts outlining the emotional connection to your investment decisions:
Most investors never learn to separate the two; causing them to never make a profit. They sell when they are mad, buy when they are happy, sell when the price falls, and never buys more when the price rises.
