CTIX sends out email alerts when they have a press release, etc. Here's the link, if you haven't already signed up.

I signed up with 2 different email providers and have found that gmail seems to be faster than some of the other services. If you are using 2 different email providers, it might be interesting to set up a race between them, as I have.
