I figured I'd pop in on the last trading day of the year just to say a few words.
My thoughts: Tony, Conrad, Luis, Barry, Sheryle and quite a few others have undoubtedly been working their butts off to make this thing happen. We've had some terrific news over the last couple of months - Connie Kalitta joins the Board of Directors, Kalitta Air agrees to lease Baltia a 767.....heck, just the fact that Baltia is still alive and kicking at this point probably exceeds everyone's expectations.
I believe 2017 will (finally) be our year. Once Baltia gets the thumbs up to continue with the process - and I personally feel at this point in the game they certainly WILL and that we should be hearing something next month when the FAA comes off their December Holiday Schedule - my guess is that things will start moving pretty quickly.
PRs about financing, name change and new direction, personnel changes, etc. My guess......6 months after we hear about the passing of the mini-evac (remember that one!) we should be airborne and generating revenues.
The good part about this Mini-evac is that the company LEASING the plane to Baltia is responsible for getting the mechanical part right - and this time around that rests on Connie Kalitta and his maintenance people - so I again feel pretty confident that will be a success the first time around.
My belief is that by the end of next summer, this will be a whole new ballgame.
