Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Florida Inspire

CLEARWATER, Fla., Dec. 29, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- What happens when you put your “life” on hold to help others make their lives better?  In answer to that, two dozen of the most active volunteers of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers (VMs) corps of Florida were acknowledged on Friday the 23 ^rd of December at their headquarters in downtown Clearwater.

Brian Ward, President of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Florida, acknowledged his fellow VMs for reaching over 13,000 people, “You have accomplished much this year, and for that I thank you.  But, there is still so much more to be done and so I hope you are inspired to stretch what you think are your limits and reach even more people than you have.”

In 2016, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Florida reported that they saw over 10,000 visitors in their beautiful new headquarters.  Over 4,000 were instantly helped with ministerial counseling based on one or more of the 19 chapters of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Handbook.  Visitors were helped with marriage counseling, improving literacy, resolving conflicts and even getting jobs and handling their homeless situation among others. 

But the Volunteer Ministers also reach out into the community and beyond, bringing relief to thousands, whether homeless, stressed out by the challenges of modern living or feeling the effects of some natural disaster.
