Bandwidth always matters. The more bandwidth a service provider uses, the more money it costs them to deliver their product..
The overall 4K business cycle is just getting going and will most be likely be around for a long time.
HD has been around for 20 yrs and the business curve is probably just now starting a downward trend from it's peak with the introduction of 4K.
HD still has a lot of life left in it as 4K/HDR overcomes it's shortfalls. That's why the largest service providers aren't completely focused on it yet.
There is also a lot of room for competition in the 4K business space. You get left behind when you peak too soon in the business cycle and others build on your tech or your business model and surpass what you've accomplished.
As impatient as we all may be to capitalize on our investment, IMO we need to remind ourselves that we are still at the beginning of this. Not everyone has the foresight to see the potential of a technology before it becomes mainstream like NTEK investors did. IMO
