I had a big cottonwood tree in my front yard of the house I used to own. A white squirrel nested there and had 3 babies, all white. They dispersed into the neighborhood when they became of age. A year later in the late fall mom still lived there, but i came home one day and her nest was on the ground in pieces. A neighbor came out and told me an eagle came and flew away with her. Oh well. I did see one of her young after, but sold the house not too long after that.

Sad, but nature rules.
