No more wimpy than Bush was with Georgia, just after he looked into Putin's eyes and 'saw his soul'. WTF was THAT?!
What exactly are YOU suggesting we do in Russia's 'front yard'?
We are beefing up NATO. If Trump lifts sanctions on Russia and undercuts NATO, will that be wimpy or not wimpy?
The Syrian 'would be intervention' was shot down by the GOP Congress. Look it up.
If Obama had acted with out that approval, the right would have lost their shit over 'emperor Obama' acting unilaterally.
There was no evidence of wimpiness when Obama ordered the Navy SEALS to take out the Captain Phillips pirates, nor when he authorized the riskiest of the 3 operations to get bin Laden, the one with SEALS' boots on the ground to verify the body and the DNA.
And of course there is no wimpiness in the body count of terrorists killed by American air power and Special Ops. It's now over 30K with the ISIS casualties counted. Look it up.
And maybe it takes more balls to NOT commit large number of Americans to another quagmire of IED generated casualties?
Try applying a single set of standards. You might find it to be an agreeable intellectual exercise, one that you'd like to adopt.
