LINDENHURST, NY--(Marketwired - Dec 16, 2016) - Iconic Brands, Inc. (OTC PINK: ICNB) announced today the closing of the previously announced LOI with Bellissima Prosecco, www.bellissimaprosecco.com; Iconic Brands now controls a 51% interest in the Brand.
Bellissima represents what Iconic believes to be the Premium Product in the prosecco category which in the United States is approaching 5 million case sales annually, and which grew at 34% last year. The UK market is even more robust, where last year for the first time ever prosecco over took its French rival Champagne in sales.
Prosecco is clearly one of the fastest growing sectors of the Wine and Spirits industry and Bellissima, coupled with brand partner, International Super Model and Entrepreneur Christie Brinkley, have brought to market a line of 100% Organic, Gluten Free Proseccos which are also certified Vegan with three distinct offerings: a DOC Brut, a Sparkling Rose and A Zero Sugar.
Iconic began selling Bellissima's products in September of this year and has sold out the first two production runs. Product spokesman Chazz Palminteri returned to Stew Leonard's Wines in Yonkers NY on Saturday December 5th. The first meet-and-greet this past October was a tremendous success with Chazz autographing bottles of BiVi vodka for fans and customers setting up this encore performance. On Thursday, October 22, BiVi will be one of the featured alcoholic beverages at The Capital Grille in Garden City, NY for their Cigars and Cars event. The Bronx CockTale will be the featured drink.
On Tuesday, October 27, BiVi Sicilian Vodka will be the only vodka served at Pier 59's 20th Anniversary Celebration. Pier 59 Manhattan's largest waterfront event venue will be a star studded event. Pier 59 Studios, New York City's hub for high-profile fashion, advertising, photo and film production is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a star-studded event on October 27, 2015. From October 16-18, BiVi Vodka was the "Bella of the Ball" this past weekend in Washington DC at the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) gala and expo.
