A Chinese Fables Game Makes a Pose on Times Square

BEIJING, Dec. 23, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A brand new poster shows up on the giant Nasdaq Screen in New York Times Square on 23 rd December while everyone is celebrating their Christmas holidays. The poster content is very simple, apart from “Yugong3”, there is only one sentence at the bottom of “Chinese fables game”, you can draw a conclusion that the game is adapted from Chinese Fables. On close inspection, you will find the game name is “Yugong3”.

A photo accompanying this announcement is available at http://www.globenewswire.com/NewsRoom/Attachm...590baca6f7

After verification, “Yugongyishan” is a Chinese traditional ancient fable story, which is a story about Yugong works hard and makes babies persistently for removing big mountains. Meanwhile, a word of caution here: When my sons die, my grandchildren will continue, my offspring is countless. It is a catchphrase about "perseverance" and "determination" for one thousand years, which is famous in Chinese circles all over the world.

For a long time, the ancient Chinese culture has always become the precious heritage of world culture, they always promote their own traditional culture in foreign areas, for example, "Kongfu", "Three Kingdoms" has a very high popularity in North America, the type of theme has been adapted into many kinds of games, movies and novels, etc. Even some American native writings use Chinese world view for reference. It follows that the comprehensive degree of “Kongfu” and “Three Kingdoms” in American mind is even as to “War of Independence”.

Moreover, the mobile game “Yugong3” is based on the “Yugongyishan” story. Nowadays, the game is preparing for publishing the 3 rd version, the first two editions have already accumulated tens of millions of players and made great contributions for developing on-hook games in China. It is understood that the third generation has added some sandbox game elements on the basis of on-hook gameplay and the overall game content is very elaborate. Obviously, the game has taken an important step on the way of globalization and shows their ambitions through their market promotion in the Times Square.

Can “Yugong3” be as popular as other Chinese traditional elements all over the world? Maybe we also need to see the further development of the game.
