Hi everyone. You have known me for over three years now on this board. I try my best to use my education and knowledge of investing to give you my perspective of Baltia's current ongoings, whether good or bad. Usually I avoid discussing bashers, because I believe that in the end, they will be drowned out by the optimism and civil discussion we portray here. But I need to make an exception today and tell you about one individual who is going out of his way to make sure Baltia fails. Of all the people I've witnessed trying to take down Baltia, one in particular stands out as truly disgusting.
For those of you wondering why there's hate towards Baltia from bashers, let me provide some insight into the type of scum we're dealing with.
You've all heard of the Baltia Wrecking Crew (BWC) Facebook page, run by Gregory Hurleyaka kayakzz who has posted videos of himself saying Baltia and the largest shareholders (including TheLieutenant) are scammers and that the purpose of that Facebook page is to be the voice of reason. The only thing Mr. Hurley has done is post nonsensical bulls**t that is so far from the truth, it sounds like IHUB. On top of that, people like Chris Hoover , the only supporter of the BWC page, have bought the ridiculous crap flowing from Mr. Hurley's mouth. He has turned investors into bashers. This is the type of people we have to deal with. Now let's deal with them.
Here is some insight into who Gregory Hurley really is: he is a disbarred attorney from Virginia who represented a child pornographer in court. The man he represented, Samuel Lee Snead, was convicted of child sex abuse. Here's a quote directly from an article in The Register-Herald : "A former massage therapist convicted in December on 167 charges relating to child pornography and the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl won’t be out of prison any time soon, if ever....Before Hutchison ordered the sentence, defense attorney Greg Hurley asked him to not consider it to be anything like another sex offender with whom the judge had dealt earlier in the day — Warren Hester, who used a knife to kidnap and rape an 11-year-old girl.
'This case doesn’t have that nature to it,' Hurley said. '... The young ladies in the pictures do not appear to be being tortured. ... Consider a sentence that would allow Mr. Snead some life on the outside at some point.”
But the victim’s mother tearfully pleaded for just the opposite. "
This piece of shit tried to get special treatment for a child rapist. Life outside? You want a child rapist to be outside near your kids? REALLY? Does a scumbag like Greg Hurley seem like a credible source of stock investment information? Didn't think so. So why then do people like Chris Hoover listen to his filth?
It's because it's entertaining. It's pure entertainment and nothing more. He films himself, a 53-year-old man and an alcoholic (see below for more details), riding a unicycle and wearing a bicycle helmet while trying to seriously discuss Baltia's press releases and SEC filings. I'm sympathetic toward the mentally ill, I really am. But I must make an exception in this case. Unlike most individuals with a brain disorder, Mr. Hurley knows that the things he does are genuinely wrong . Those videos he posts are slanderous , and in the eyes of many attorneys, illegal . Again, this is a disbarred attorney we're talking about. His privilege to practice law was taken from him because of extreme incompetence: "As stated above, Hurley failed to provide Mr. Foster with effective assistance of counsel on two separate occasions during plea bargaining....Additionally, Hurley's closing argument was seriously deficient during Mr. Foster's trial.... Hurley's admitted battle with alcoholism had spiraled out of control at the time that he was appointed to Mr. Foster's case. Hurley remorsefully testified that Mr. Foster's testimony was true -- verifying that he did smell of alcohol during Mr. Foster's double first-degree murder trial. This sounds like a joke, but I assure you it's not. Mr. Hurley is an alcoholic who defends sex offenders, rapists, child molesters, and murderers, and he rightfully lost his law license because of it. How does anyone think this mentally deranged man is capable of providing unbiased stock information to potential and current Baltia investors?
