Sorry, but I don't see how that response addressed any question raised.
The pertinent point and questions wrt RS were:
1. they have the power to do a RS now.
2. What impact would that have on QMC?
3. Why even bring it to a vote?
4. What's the benefit for QMC doing it that way?
They've had the power for some time, but haven't; Why?

Sorry, thinking about things cause distress in some, but do think it needs to be considered.
While I appreciate your assessment and opinion(s), I don't think others should suspend further consideration.
