We wouldn't say Australia has a snake problem, but they do call the world's second most deadly snake a "common brown" snake, and seven of them were recently born in a 3-year-old's closet. Weird, right? Not as weird as letting a toddler keep snake eggs. But when your kid finds eggs and asks you to box them up for safekeeping, what are you gonna do? Explain to him that snake eggs eventually turn into snakes? Well, maybe. Anyway, they found the snakes before anybody could get hurt. Crikey.
