These are the moments I'm talking about (go read my Post# 103: Highlighted in the blue bar at the top of my page).
So many of us are preprogramed from such a young age that we never try to get our lives out of a rut. We wake up, we go to work, we come home, we sleep, we wake up, we go to work, we come home...
before you know it, we're dead. and in the meantime, we made someone else rich by working for them.
This post isn't to suggest to blindly throw money into the stock market. DO NOT INVEST MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. What this post is bringing to light is that there seriously is more out there than simply wake up, go to work, come home, sleep, wake up, go to work, come home...
Reality is very brutal. The majority of us will never get out of this; and if you are fine with that, then be happy. We should all be content with what we have. But for the minority.. those who wake up in the morning and say, "Is this my life???" "Am I going to do this until I die???"... this post is for those people. It may be good to learn to invest; to learn to save. Don't buy the best of the best. Why do you have a $180 per month phone bill when you could have a basic plan for $45? So you can have the internet on the go? Dont you have a computer at home? Because people will make fun of your 'dumb' phone?
Why do people pay $150 a month for cable/phone/internet? Is there THAT much good tv out there? Imagine how much you may make in the market if you invested that money instead. Imagine how much you could learn about investing if you turned off the TV... right now. But you wont, right?
Why do people buy new cars when you can buy a two year old car at almost half the cost? Imagine how much you may make in the market if you invested that money instead.
Dont listen to people when they tell you that you 'cant'. When people say you 'cant'. what they really mean is, "I couldn't and therefor I'm going to do everything in my power to be sure you don't either".
And most importantly.. never give up.
