The recent interest rate hike is going to put increased pressures on those that are carrying huge naked short positions especially if abused stocks begin to see their share prices increase. Remember Bear Stearns? Some are much more highly levereged than they were when the sharks smelled blood in the water.
Will we see a repeat? I think so and it will be worse than BS imho because I don't think they will be bailed out by the taxpayers this time.. Which will be the first large American bank to fail? Stay tuned. Go CTIX!!!
