Holy smokes; we need to form Treaty In Space. Regarding the last paragraph explaining where the oil came from - I would be willing to bet that researchers are already trying to derive hydrocarbons from simulated mini-stars right here on Earth. There has to be some way to cause that chemical reaction in a near-vacuum. Amazing stuff.
