NTEK -Buyout- You can bet the house on this happening. Serious discussions regarding the terms of the deal will begin in earnest shortly following DF's release. There was no way David was going to allow the sale of NTEK while he was still away and could not be in on the negotiations of the sale.
What some NTEK investors fail to realize is the NTEK sale price for a penny stock is in NO WAY predicated on the current market cap. The sale price is determined on what type of value, future growth, and cutting edge technology the acquired company holds for the acquiring co.
If I had to guess I would say the bidding begins somewhere in the range of 100-150 million but it is anyone's guess how much higher the bidder will need to go (still saying Verizon) before NTEK takes the money and runs. DF will IMO take the money and perhaps begin a new start up ( based on his blog notes in prison) or maybe throw some funding into Gaming.
It is just too difficult to compete against the big guns when you are so underfunded and David knows this all too well. History says more "successful" start ups are acquired over time than a start up becoming the next big thing.
This sale will leave the vast majority of NTEK longs with a tremendous ROI especially for those that have averaged down over the last year. Just do the math minimum 40X present value upside 100X.
So when David's phone rings and its Verizon on the other end, "Can you hear me now?" Hopefully David's answer is yes I hear you loud and clear, "LETS MAKE A DEAL"
