Of COURSE there is an economic record that any GOP president would take credit for, rightly or wrongly. THE point is, choose one standard to judge both by.
My portfolio recovered and thrived under the 'Obama Market'. I'm very happy about that. It wasn't a sure thing during the winter of '08.
I like that the Medicare D 'donut hole' is shrinking and on it's way to elimination by 2020, due to Obamacare.
I guaranf*ckintee you that is another provision of Obamacare that Trump will want to 'preserve'.
I'm sure you and others have figured out by now that I don't give a rat's patooty about 'god, guns, gay, flags, fags, and fetuses.'
Those are the 'shiny objects' cultural issues that distract people from the hard facts about their jobs, incomes and opportunities, or lack thereof.
And now, 'Federal Bathrooms'. Perhaps the shiniest object of all for some busybodies.
Those shiny objects will always be with us, unfortunately. But not a single one of them will result in more and better jobs.
None of them prevented the Negro from nailing bin Laden or avoiding another 9/11. Didn't prevent an economic recovery that, for all its unevenness, is stronger than people hoped for in the Fall of '08.
I think that Obama conducted himself with class and dignity in the face of the most outrageous allegations about his citizenship, his very legitimacy.
That 'class' is soon to be very sorely missed and inadequately replaced by a thin skinned oaf who tweets his Id as though anyone with an IQ number above room temperature would be remotely interested.
That's my 'case'.
Think hard on it before attempting to present one for Trump.
