I find that many who only invest in the higher markets don't understand penny stocks and how they move or don't move, LOL! You said you remember SPNG. I remember the day that the CEO started posting deals with major league baseball to advertise their pre-soaped sponges for cars, pets, etc on the ballpark walls using billboards. The deals ended up being fraudulent and the CEO was indicted but the stock temporarily soared 1500% or better on the acronym "MLB". It's like hangin Justin Bieber's name on OMPG and the stock will move up with zero fundamentals behind it. My point is that sometimes all it takes is a good promotion and big business or big names associated with a penny stock and the PPS will soar with very little revenue and often for non-filers. Now all that said; TECO is the real deal producing a world wide needed commodity. I kept harping on credibility around the late summer timeframe while Belize was being delayed and Madeley was over-hyped, 1000 BPD came and went, etc. Management has changed course and are now more reasonable with their PR hype. They now have a much larger and full time strategic drilling partner/service. The PPS has suffered due to mistakes which was always one of the many risks when investing in any penny stock. I accept those risks and have rode the PPS up and down due to those risks. I remain a loyal shareholder because I believe that TECO management wants as much success as their shareholders. TECO management needs to stay humble, knock off the arrogance (Gwynn) and learn from their past and ongoing mistakes if they want to make it to the Nasdaq. I don't mean to sound like an armchair quarterback but some of the mistakes could be considered business common sense in the penny markets. Maintaining credibility can be the easiest thing to achieve by not over-hyping while under performing. It's ok to under perform as long as they keep their mouths shuts and don't over hype. That will keep less shorters off their backs althought shorters will always come and go but in TECO's case; they have fed them much ammunition along the way so the FUD gets easier to dish out and newbies are easily scared off. Don't the TECO insiders know what FUD is? It's not hard to create FUD when the company is feeding into the hands of the neyseyers over the course of a year. Anyone with experience in the micro-markets should know better and if they didn't before then they know now and I assume thanks to you educating them on it! Just KISS the market! They just need to "keep it simple stupid" when it comes to PR's and shut up, put up and then speak. The revenues and shareholders will follow!
