Last year, 577 million inbound visitors arrived into the Asia-Pacific region, according to the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). PATA forecasts an increase to 657 million inbound visitors in 2020. Furthermore, the region accounts for 30% of the global travel market, according to Phocuswright .
