Director Jasmin Dizdar’s acclaimed World War II drama, "CHOSEN," starring Academy Award Nominee Harvey Keitel, will be released to theatres in the United States and Canada beginning Friday, Dec. 16. The film will launch with a Los Angeles exclusive engagement at the Laemmle Town Center 5 in Encino, California, with expansion to more than 20 key markets set for January and February through Medallion Releasing and Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE). "CHOSEN" was an official selection and enjoyed its European Premiere in September at the prestigious Oldenberg Film Festival in Germany, which sparked international media attention and critical praise.

Inspired by true events, "CHOSEN" tells the epic journey of Sonson, a Hungarian Jew, trying to keep the promise he's made to his wife on her deathbed. Set in the winter of 1943, Sonson embarks on a life-changing mission into the Warsaw Ghetto to save his sister-in-law from being deported to Auschwitz. Director Jasmin Dizdar skillfully creates a historic frame for his intimate tale supported by a nuanced performance of Harvey Keitel.

Medallion Releasing is the theatrical distribution affiliate of Hannover House, Inc., an independent production and distribution company founded in 1993.
