This market notice contains important information on updates to the previously announced timeline for the activation of a new circuit breaker mechanism on the Nordic equity derivatives market.
On 28 Nov 2016 the circuit breaker mechanism was activated for OMXS30 index derivatives but inactivated two days later due to technical reasons. The mechanism will be re-activated in connection with the next Genium INET upgrade scheduled to go-live on 20 Feb 2017.
The activation of the circuit breaker mechanism for single stock derivatives, originally scheduled to take place between 12 Dec 2016 and 30 Jan 2017, has been postponed and will be activated gradually for sub-sets of products starting 20 Feb 2017.
A detailed timeline with the relevant activation dates will be communicated in a separate exchange notice at a later stage.
