.....how many stocks has Ted been wiped out on from Preferreds?
None, because Ted is a prudent investor and the only thing that can wipe Ted out, is a total market collapse. No single stock or industry can wipe me out by design.
Have I lost a large percentage in an OTC stock that misused Preferred Shares? Yes, but the preferred shares and management's use of them, only highlighted that I had picked a "bad" company on the OTC. Without the Preferred shares, management was still probably going to take the company down and I reduced my total exposure then later walked away with just a couple of hundred dollars. I don't blame my losses on the preferred shares, I just see it as a bad investment decisions on my part.
If I'm totally wrong about QMC management and their potential use of preferred shares, and my very high risk investment in QMC is totally wiped out, it will be my biggest single loss in one stock, but only if I ride it all the way down. I will look at it as losing my highest risk gamble ever and will hopefully learn a lesson about big investments on the OTC.
I am slowly evaluating the facts as the they come in and doing some independent research to become more knowledgeable on the issues at hand. No need to rush to judgment without all of the facts.
