SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 07, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Security National Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: SNFCA ) announced today that on December 2, 2016 its Board of Directors has authorized a 5% stock dividend for stockholders of record on January 13, 2017. The stock dividend will be issued on February 3, 2017.

This growth has been reflected in an increase in book value as our book value has grown nearly 11% in the first three quarters from $8.01 to $8.89 per common share.  This is the Company’s 28th consecutive year in declaring a 5% stock dividend.
