Though, I'd recommend being very careful (and almost cringed a bit when I saw them mention it) about claiming remission because remission time lengths can vary greatly. It's a condition that could relapse anytime in the future. So, okay, a patient can be in remission and stay in remission for some time but to stay in remission may also require a maintenance drug like asacol or meslamine. If brilacidin corrects the condition without the need of a maintenance prescription, that would be awesome. Certainly there are different stages of IBS/ ulcerative colitis.
BTW, I'm no Dr. just going off of what I know.
