Like Atlas stated, DF got a raw deal!!!! I'm sure we all know what DF is all about.
As a graduate in computer science, he is considered a computer tech genius.
Let's just say the business agreement that DF entered into should have been handled as a civil suit not a criminal. The company that filed the civil complaint against DF, which BTW have been out of business , filed criminal charges as well. Scumbags that they were, I'm sure lies were made to add pressure on DF.
One never knows what lies one will make for the greed of money...
Since the civil suit was settled, the criminal could not just be dropped.
Give me a break..... bank and mail fraud and a 5 thousand fine.....

Bank Fraud ..... falsifying on a mortgage application.... REALLY!!!.... How many people falsified mortgage apps in 2007 with the sub prime mortgages !!!!
Prosecutors needed to pinch him for something to end it...
The way I see it as the company was looking to steal DF knowledge !!!
I have total respect for DF taking it as a man and deciding to plea guilty and not run up more legal cost and putting his family though all this and end it.
