Bulova Technologies Group, Inc., incorporated on October 24, 2008, is a seller of high precision industrial machine tools, primarily through its distribution network. The Company operates through two segments: Transportation services and Commercial Sales. The Transportation segment provides freight storage and movement across the Continental United States, and the Commercial Sales segment is involved in sales and distribution of industrial machines, ammunition, software and healthcare products. The Company has approximately four major areas of focus, which it conducts through its subsidiaries. Its subsidiaries include Bulova Technologies Machinery LLC (BTM), Bulova Technologies Finance LLC, Bulova Technologies (Europe) LLC, Bulova Technologies Advanced Products LLC, Bulova Technologies Healthcare Products LLC, Bulova Technologies Compliance and Security LLC, and BT Twiss Transport LLC.
The Company, through BTM, is engaged in machine tool business, and imports industrial machine tools and related equipment from international sources. The Company, through BTM, also establishes a distributor/dealer Network throughout the United States and Canada. The Bulova Technologies Machinery line of equipment is sold through its Clearwater, Florida location, and other distributors across the United States, Canada and South America. BTM's products include Vertical Micro Machining Centers, such as BT-280, BT-360D, BT-380, BT-400S and BT-450; Vertical Box Ways, such as VMC-3320B, VMC-4220B, VMC-4324B 50 Taper, VMC-4729B, VMC-5529B, VMC-6332B 50 Taper, VMC-6733B and VMC-7833B; Vertical Linear Motion Guide Machining Centers, such as SMART-2016L, SMART-3016L, VMC-2216L and VMC-3016L; Vertical Machining Centers with Linear Motion Guides, such as VMC-3522L, VMC-4322L VMC-5123L, and Turning Centers, such as L-2100. BTM offers products for various industries, including consumer electronics, medical, automotive, aerospace and energy.
The Company, through Bulova Technologies Finance LLC, provides in-house financing to purchasers of BTM equipment. The Company, through Bulova Technologies (Europe) LLC, executes military contracts from its headquarters in Clearwater, Florida and locations in North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Europe as a broker. Bulova Technologies (Europe) LLC is a systems integrator, providing the Company's armed services and allied governments with materials. Additionally, Bulova Technologies (Europe) LLC is an importer of small caliber ammunition for the United States commercial ammunition marketplace. Through Bulova Technologies Advanced Products LLC, the Company serves as its technology incubator, identifying and developing technologies. Bulova Technologies Advanced Products LLC has identified technologies and products in both the healthcare and software security marketplace.
Bulova Technologies HealthCare Products LLC operates under Bulova Technologies Advanced Products LLC. Bulova Technologies HealthCare Products LLC develops and markets medical products for both military and commercial applications. The Company, through Bulova Technologies Compliance and Security LLC, markets the Enterprise Content Management Library (ECM Library) and the companion K-3 Data Encryption software to government agencies, banks, law firms and mid to large-size businesses. The ECM Library software system provides for advanced search capability, security, protection notification alerts and back-up repository maintenance. The ECM Library software provides layers of secured data. These layers monitor access to repository data, download and transmission of confidential files, insertion of external memory devices, online searches that have been performed, Websites visited and e-mails sent or received using the repository content.
BT Twiss Transport LLC is a joint venture. The Company has ownership interest in this joint venture. BT-Twiss Transport LLC owns Twiss Transport, Inc., Twiss Logistics, Inc. and Twiss Cold Storage, Inc. Twiss Transport, Inc. is a truckload and less than truck load (LTL) freight shipping company specializing in the transportation of frozen, chilled and dry goods to and from anywhere within the Continental United States. Twiss Logistics, Inc. is a Truckload Brokerage company that utilizes a network of carriers to facilitate the movement of additional freight in and out of Florida, and anywhere else in the Continental United States. Twiss Cold Storage, Inc. operates a Cold Storage facility of approximately 150,000 square feet of frozen and chilled warehouse space providing refrigeration service for perishable products in transit through various distribution channels, as well as those provided by Twiss Transport, Inc. and Twiss Logistics, Inc.
