Star. Here is a dramatic story.
My wife grew up with asthma and debilitating migraines, from age 13 or so.
I can remember the headaches & her running outside in underwear one time
middle of a freezing night to catch a breath.
One day her doctor checked for allergies knowing she was already allergic
to peanuts & aspirin & penicillin.
They found a strong allergy to Mono Sodium Glutamate, MSG.
Within two weeks of it being out our our diet and kitchen
her migraines and asthma disappeared.
Can you imagine that. Thinking she would have to live life that way
and all that disappears.
Yet, one time we grabbed a slice of Pizza at a Meyers.
After a while she got a headache so bad that a month later when getting routine eye checkups,
She was found to have a 'dent-shaped optic nerve - presumably from the blood vessel spasms.
Which returned to normal in a few months.
The number one purveyor is Campbell soup.
Especially chicken noodle.
They now say they have taken out MSG but have left in autolyzed yeast, a cousin chemical.
We prepare food ourselves for the most part now. And check every label and restaurant recipe.
