We Are talking FEDEX here. They will drag their feet as long as they can get away with it.
My Attorney just emailed theirs telling him she expects the check on her desk tomorrow.
We'll see.I won't go into the whole story but FDX devastated my family when they didn't renew my contract citing fears of resurfacing of hyperextension symptoms from being broadsided by a reckless driver with no insurance 2 years prior while on duty for Fdx.I had finally completed my recovery and never missed a day of duty after the accident.Just gritted my teeth and ate Motrin,Aleve, aspirin and put up with the pain until I worked it out over a year and a half.
That's how FDX repays loyalty and self determination? It's been a financial nightmare now for the last 3 1/2 years for me and my family.I wouldn't wish my experiences on anyone.
Now they agree to settle and even at this time of year they still drag their feet? The attorneys know what I am dealing with and I am not saying anything looking for "sympathy" but to illustrate how cold and insensitive some can be.No check,no Christmas. My stepdaughter had a stroke last week and needs help because of her lost income.$800 (that they don't have) to fill the oil tank.(Plus keeping oil in my tank)They know this.
I will not sell any (more)CTIX.I am down to my core and I am not budging.I sacrificed "blood sweat and tears"and many cherished items sold to get what I have.
When you see a FDX Ground or Home Delivery driver, you are seeing a "non-employee" who is treated like bought and paid for "slave"and a "disposable one"at that.FDX Express drivers are employees with benefits etc.
When the major class actions are settled I will be fully restored.I just have to get from here till probably summer.
I hope the FDX attorneys enjoy their Christmas and New Year.
