SSH Communications Security Oyj has finished employer/employee consultation process that was began on 9.11.2016 to reorganize its operations and find cost savings. SSH will refocus its operations around its core strategy and focuses its sales activities. SSH will reorganize its R&D efforts to better correspond to its customers’ accelerating digital and cloud transformation. SSH will focus its sales and marketing activities in Asia to Hong Kong and will dissolve the subsidiaries in Singapore and Japan. In Europe, SSH will concentrate its direct sales activities to Northern and Central Europe. As a result of the process, SSH will reduce its headcount by 17 people in Finland and by 8 people abroad totaling 25 globally. The initially estimated maximum need for personnel reductions was 37 people.
