Professional Builder Magazine Names LGI Homes its

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Dec. 05, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LGI Homes, Inc. (NASDAQ: LGIH ) was recently named the 2016 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder , home building’s leading business publication. 

Established in 1965, the Builder of the Year program has over a half-century history in the home building industry. This esteemed honor recognizes innovative home builders whose ideas and business results represent the best in home building.

LGI Homes, founded in 2003, posted more than $630 million in revenue (an increase of 64.5% over 2014) and 3,404 closings in 2015. In the past four years, it has climbed in the rankings from #57 in 2013 to #25 in the 2016 Housing Giants List of the largest builders in the United States.
