If there is federal reform of the SEC, and it filters down to penny stocks, then so be it. I don't refute that can happen by default. But there are far larger perpetrators that cause damage to the economy at the national level and that is more the role of the president to address directly. Penny stock manipulations do not effect the economy as a whole, even considering the popular "little guy" victim play.
Again, I repeat, I am NOT saying penny stock manipulations will go on unchecked forever. It just won't be directly addressed by whoever the president is at the time.
A side note, volatility is why most of us even bother with penny stocks, right? It surely isn't for the fundamentals! LOL These aren't investments. We aren't going to get 1x, 5x, 10x returns on our Apple or Amazon stocks, right?
The list of penny stocks that turned into legit companies can be counted on two hands out of the thousands of penny stock companies. Let's not kid ourselves about the penny stock landscape.
